Check: find the drain hose exiting the wall or running to a pump; disconnect at the drain pan outlet and blow through it (mouth or wet/dry vac from the outside end). The drain line cleanout, step by step

• 2. Locate the drain pan outlet — a rubber or flexible hose at the bottom-right or bottom-left of the case.
• 3. Place a shallow tray under the outlet, disconnect the hose (usually a push-fit or hose clamp).
• 4. Feed a wet/dry vac on the OUTSIDE end of the line (or blow from the pan end with a low-pressure source) until the sludge lets go. Expect a gritty slug of black biofilm — that's the clog.

• Water reappears within a day of a verified-clean drain — the pan or the coil slope inside the case is wrong, which means opening the refrigerant-side case.
• The leak is accompanied by hissing, ice that returns after cleaning, or an error code pointing at refrigerant — that's a sealed-system problem, not a drainage one.
• Your unit has a condensate pump and you're not comfortable replacing it — it's a 30-minute job for a tech.
