What H07 means

CH07 appears on LG 2-in-1 (heating and cooling) and multi-split systems when standing/wall-mount units - or units in different rooms - are set to different operating modes, e.g. one indoor unit set to cooling while another is set to heating. The shared system cannot heat and cool at the same time, so it blocks operation and shows CH07. SplitAtlas describes it the same way: connected LG indoor units are not set to compatible modes, and the equipment blocks operation because a shared system cannot heat and cool simultaneously.

First checks before service

1. 1. One-time fault event (power disturbance or transient sensor reading) common DIY

   Check: Power-cycle at the breaker/disconnect (or unplug for CPAP), restore, and run the system while watching for the code.

   Fix: If the code does not return after a full run cycle, the fault was transient — monitor, no repair needed.

2. 2. Fault persists after a clean reset occasional pro only

   Check: If the code returns immediately or every session, note the conditions (startup, heating, after rain).

   Fix: A persisting code points at the component the manual assigns to this code — that repair is technician territory.
