What EC52 means

EC52 means the outdoor unit's coil temperature sensor (T3) is either shorted, disconnected, or reporting abnormal values, so the system cannot safely judge outdoor coil temperature and shuts down when readings go out of range. Senville's trigger threshold is a sensor signal voltage below 0.06V or above 4.94V. SplitAtlas (LETO Series) describes EC52 as the outdoor coil temperature reading being outside the valid electrical range.
