What EC56 means

EC56 means the system cannot trust the T2B sensor - the indoor coil outlet temperature sensor used in multi-zone configurations, monitored at the outdoor low-pressure valve circuit. Senville states the sensor is disconnected, shorted, or reading abnormally and the system shuts down to prevent improper operation; the trigger is a signal voltage below 0.06V or above 4.94V. T2B is only used in multi-zone setups, so on single-zone units this code typically does not apply. SplitAtlas (LETO Series) describes EC56 the same way.
